Very resourceful water and sanitation manager with over 14 years of working experience across humanitarian and development contexts with different international humanitarian and development organisations in 13 countries (eg Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Turkey, Yemen, Jordan, Tajikistan, Swaziland (Eswatini), Iraq and recently Afghanistan.
Strong knowledge and experience in design and formulation of WASH programme including Climate resilience programmes and sectoral plan with realistic outcomes, output and results, ensuring alignment key strategic aspects in workplans or rolling workplans to the country programme documents/strategy as well as government sector plans and priorities.
Recognized for strong leadership in sector/cluster coordination and the proven ability to develop, build, maintain and strengthen strategic partnerships with government counterparts, UN agencies, donor agencies, NGOs, research institutions and the private sectors to stimulate synergies and collaboration.
Proven leadership in resources mobilization-fundraising (proposal writing) and bring in new funding partners at the global and local levels, with a goal of ensuring the financial sustainability of an expanded WASH program and effective budget/grants management.
