Bio
Mu'ayyad Mehyar (he/him) is an accomplished inclusive executive professional with a proven ability to strategize, develop, implement and assess social reform and human rights development related programmes. He has extensively led social development and human rights reform projects and programmes across the MENA region, and to a lesser extent in Europe and South-West Asia.
Mu'ayyad has more than 19 years of profound diverse experiences, across public, private and civil society sectors, in learning and knowledge management and in designing, implementing and assessing developmental and reform programmes and projects.
In his work across different sectors, Mu'ayyad has consensually brought about cooperation agreements and inter-state policy dialogue outcomes based on consensus building processes as well as confidence building measures.
All Mu’ayyad’s work builds on his exceptional people skills, honed by his experience interacting with culturally diverse leaders, individuals and teams in a wide range of professional environments. Colleagues describe him as action focused, passionate, caring and insightful, all at once. He believes fully in the power of individuals to effect change. He influenced teams, partners and stakeholders to realise their goals by cooperating with them to expand their perspectives, gain insights into behaviours, and build on their strengths.
