Bio
Kishore Kumar Singh joined ILO in 2014 as Senior TVET Specialist- Equity and Access at ILO, Bangladesh following 18 years of work experience in several other organizations including UNDP, CARE International and GIZ. Before joining ILO’s Regional Office for Arab States (ROAS) in January 2021 as Senior Regional Skills and Employability Specialist he served as Chief Technical Adviser (CTA) to lead EU and Canada supported skills and employability programs at ILO, Bangladesh, where he worked extensively on inclusive skills reform with focus on promoting future skills, lifelong learning, and inclusion.
Currently, he has been supporting ILO constituents in a range of skills initiatives in the areas of policy development, skills governance, skills system development and national skills coordination, digitalization, and skills for green transition in several countries of Arab States. He also represents DWT, ROAS in regional Issue Based Coalition for youth and adolescent- a network of UN agencies for youth employment and youth development.
