Bio
Bashar Samarneh (MSc., PMP) born in 1982 at Jordan, and lives currently in Erbil, Iraq. With 18-years’ experience in construction sector, started his career in the private sector for 10 years at different types of construction projects, followed by three years in development projects. He started working with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in 2015, piloting the first project on Employment Intensive Investment Programme (EIIP) in the region at Jordan, followed by many other EIIP interventions in the region including Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. Bashar holds Masters Degree in Engineering Management from University of Leeds UK, Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Jordan, and Diploma in Strategy Management and Leadership from Chartered Management Institution/ UK.
