Bio
Rania Tarazi has 19 years of international development experience in the Arab Region focused on socio-economic analysis, gender analysis and mainstreaming, policy advice and programme support, and capacity development to integrate gender dimensions into programmes. She worked with several international organizations including Oxfam GB, GIZ, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and the United Nations Development Program. She was also an independent consultant on research, project development, advisory support to project management and M&E. She conceptualized, guided, contributed and conducted various research studies. Rania has a master’s degree in inequalities and social sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a master’s degree in urban management from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is proficient in English, a native Arabic speaker, and has an intermediate level of French and Spanish.
