Bio
I am an Egyptian Economist with more than ten years of professional experience in economic research and projects' coordination. I joined the UN-Habitat Egypt office early 2021. I am currently in-charge of the public finance management component for the Integrated Urban Development Project -Hayenna; which is an application for the PiLaR methodology for land re-adjustment. "Hayenna" is trying to dig deeply into the operation of public finance of Egypt in a trial to understand its dynamic and find the way towards their proper mobilization for the sake of urban development. Previously, I used to work for prominent think tanks in Egypt of which was the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES). I hold a Master's degree in Economics with a specialization under "economic geography" from Cairo University. I am currently working on my PhD.
