Bio
Engineer and economist with a doctorate from the University of Cambridge. Gustavo started his work on Sustainable Development in 2012 working for the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Colombia. Since then, he has worked in organizations such as UNFPA, World Bank and ESCWA, ODI, and WWF. His work has a strong quantitative focus and is dedicated to identifying policies that support SDG. In particular, he has worked for multiple countries in America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. He has done reports to support evidence-based policies, managed project implementation (mostly with rural and remote communities), developed capacity-building work and designed tailored analytical tools to match government needs.
