Bio
Currently an Economic Advisor in the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. Earlier, the CEO of a Holding Company since 2006, and Founder and Managing Partner of an advisory firm in Kuwait and Dubai, I am specialised in Islamic banking, companies restructuring and funds management. I have conducted studies for urban development projects such as Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City in the State of Kuwait. Also, over 38 years of experience in the fields of Institutional Investments, Corporate Finance, Global Economics and Risk Assessment.
Between September 2003 and 2007, he was a Lecturer on Islamic Money and Banking, Islamic Corporate Finance & Islamic Banking Services at The Institute of Banking Studies, the State of Kuwait. For the period spanning, Sept. 1997 and March 1998, he was the Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School, Comparative Legal Studies Program.
