Bio
Jan Gaska is an Economic Affairs Officer at UN-ESCWA. Jan has more than 10 years of professional experience, mainly in the area of public policy analysis, climate and labour general equilibrium and econometric modelling. Prior to joining the UN, Jan has worked for as a Consultant for the World Bank and for leading polish think-tanks (IBS, WISE Institute) as both team leader and team member within project aimed at public policy analysis, impact assessment and development of the large general equilibrium as well as econometric models both with policy and scientific focus. Jan is a holder of an PHD in Economics from Warsaw School of economics and a BA and MA in Mathematics from Warsaw University.
