Bio
Harald Braumann joined ESCWA's social protection team in July 2022 as a secondee from ILO Geneva, where he works with the International Social Security Association (ISSA). At ISSA, he manages the country profiles, which provide summaries of social protection policies in 184 countries and territories. Pior to joining ISSA, he was a Research Analyst in the Social Policy Team at UNRISD (United Nations Research Institute for Social Development). Harald holds a master’s degree in Governance and Public Policy from Passau University.
