Prior to joining the UN, I served as an economist at the World Bank Group working on private sector development matters in Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and Tunisia, and played a role in coordinating and implementing the WBG Mashreq Maximizing Finance for Development (MFD) strategy. I have experience in project development and core business operations with extensive experience in economic and technical analysis, including development of technical documents and work on impact evaluation design. Before joining the World Bank Group, I have worked as a program research assistant at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs, working on a series of environmental policy notes and coordinating the organization of conferences and talks.
