I am a public administration expert who worked for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. I have a Master's degree in public administration from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
I have a strong understanding of the ideas and principles underpinning the area of public administration thanks to my academic training and the practical abilities required to put that knowledge to use in the real world. I concentrated on subjects like Administrative Reform, performance measurement and management, effective governance public policy analysis, public finance management, and organizational behavior throughout my years of work.
I joined the UNDP after receiving my Master's degree, where I worked on numerous development initiatives. Designing and implementing policies and initiatives that aimed to advance governance in Lebanon to achieve sustainable development and improve socioeconomic conditions. While working for UNDP, I enhanced my abilities to manage projects dealing with local government and effectively collaborate with stakeholders from various backgrounds and cultures.
Subsequently, I joined ESCWA in March 2022, where I kept expanding my public administration skills. In this position, I was in charge of giving policy recommendations and technical support to governments in the Western Asia region, with an emphasis on public administration reform to overcome challenges and achieve Sustainable Development Goals, and improve governance. As part of my work to increase my knowledge of regional public administration challenges, I have contributed to a number of research projects.
I'm dedicated to furthering public administration's objectives through practical, cutting-edge methods, and I welcome the opportunity to keep having a good influence in this crucial area.
