Bio
Mr. Jil Amine is an Economic Affairs Officer (Sustainable Development) with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) working on sustainable development and renewable energy projects and policies. He joined ESCWA with prior work and management experience with the World Bank and Agence Française de Développement in Lebanon, UNDP Lebanon, and EnWin Utilities in Canada where he worked in the energy policy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy distribution sectors. Jil graduated from the University of Windsor Canada with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 2012 and a master’s degree in renewable energy in 2013.
