Ms. Valentina Gullo (Ph.D.) is an Economic Affairs Officer at the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). She is an expert in policy-oriented empirical research on development financing, focusing on tax leakages, dirty money flows, offshore financial centers, and corruption. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Sapienza University. Before joining the UN, Ms. Gullo worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Sussex, as a researcher at University of Rome Tor Vergata and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Luiss Guido Carli University.
